Reasons For Refunding To A Gift Card

When you return an item to Amazon, they can give you a full refund or refund the amount to an Amazon gift card. Many people wonder why Amazon would choose to do the latter, but there are a few reasons.

Person Who Bought Your Gift

The first is that the person who bought your gift may not have left any kind of note about what to do with their return.

In this case, Amazon will often send a message asking if you want them to keep the product and send a new one in its place or give you a refund and let them know how much they should send.

Some People Prefer Gift Cards

The second reason is that some people prefer gift cards over refunds, which is entirely understandable!

If you’re unsure whether you want a gift card instead, think about how easy it can be to buy things from Amazon.

After all, shopping online is always easier than going out and driving around town to find something specific.

Gift cards also come in handy when someone wants something specific from Amazon but doesn’t have enough money on hand at the time – as long as they know where their card is, they can purchase what they need on credit until payday!

Amazon Gift Cards Never Expire

The other great thing about Amazon gift cards is that they don’t expire. That means you can use them whenever convenient without worrying about losing any value over time.

For example, if you have a $50 Amazon gift card sitting around and notice you’re running low on milk, you could quickly order milk by adding it to your cart while checking out.

Similarly, if someone gives you a $25 gift card for Christmas but doesn’t specify what they want you to get, then picking up whatever takes your fancy would be an excellent idea!

Buy More Stuff From Amazon

And lastly, another reason why Amazon might choose to refund your money back to a gift card is that you’ll start buying more stuff from them.

After all, if you’ve got a bunch of cash ready to spend on Amazon, it will be tough to resist the urge not to click buy every time you see something attractive.
